The Chile-Cantaloupe Cooler

October 09, 2015

When summer starts to fade away, we like to squeeze a few last drops out of each ray of sunshine. Our Chile-Cantaloupe Cooler gets its orange hue from late-summer cantaloupe and a spicy kick from dried chile peppers.

Fresh cantaloupe gets muddled with cane sugar cubes and tart lime juice in the Mason Shaker. Ketel One Vodka, dried chile pepper and ice join the mix. After a long shake, the cocktail is strained and served in two rocks glasses. Cheers to a strong finish to summer!

  1. Add the cane sugar cubes, cantaloupe and lime juice to The Mason Shaker.
  2. Muddle the ingredients until thoroughly crushed.
  3. Add the vodka and chile pepper. Then, add ice to just above the level of the liquid, and shake for 20 seconds.
