Tulsi Hot Toddy
1 cup water
1 tablespoon dried tulsi
1/4 teaspoon ashwagandha bark (optional)
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons raw honey
1 lemon slide, for garnish
5 whole cloves, for garnish
Tea ball infuser
Bring the water to a boil.
Fill a tea ball infuser with the tulsi and ashwagandha (if using). Place the infuser into a teapot.
Pour the boiling water into the teapot and let steep, covered, for 15 minutes.
Remove the infuser and mix in the lemon juice and honey.
Serve in a cup with a floating lemon slice pierced with cloves.
