The Spring G&T

October 09, 2015

When the weather finally turns from winter to sunnier, "jacket optional" spring days, we know it's officially gin and tonic season. As with any simple recipe, the key to making a delicious gin and tonic is great ingredients. For the G of our G&T, we love using Hendrick's Gin, whose infusion of rose petals and cucumber pairs beautifully with Boylan Heritage Tonic. To add a seasonal twist to our G&T, we've added fresh cucumber and fragrant mint to the mix. We highly suggest doubling this recipe...you're going to want a second round.

The Spring G&T
Makes one cocktail

  1. Add the cucumber and mint to The Mason Shaker, and muddle until crushed.
  2. Add the lime juice and gin to the shaker. Add ice to just above the level of the liquid, and shake vigorously for 5 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture into a collins glass, fill with Boylan Heritage Tonic, and garnish with remaining cucumber and mint.
